BR50 – Epoxy mortar

Product Description

BR-50 is a paste-based, non-solvent epoxy mortar prepared in two components and can be used for repairing concrete surfaces and installing concrete parts on non-concrete. This mortar is used for installing acid-resistant tiles or bricks and does not ignite. This product has very good mechanical resistance and is also resistant to a wide range of chemical corrosive materials.

Application Method

Before applying BR-50, the work surface must be prepared. For this purpose, the surfaces must be cleaned of any grease, oil, dust, loose cement layers and paint. The preparation of the work surface also helps in better mechanical bonding of the product. The weight ratios of the two components of this product should not change. Therefore, if you do not need to prepare a complete set, separate the specified proportions of the two parts with the help of an accurate scale and mix them. For this, use a Manayeb electric mixer. Add the hardener to the resin and mix for about three minutes. To apply the product, the surface can be smoothed with a brush dipped in a suitable solvent. To install acid-resistant tiles or ceramics, the back of the parts should be dipped in this mortar and glued. To ensure that the surface under the work is not corroded, it is better to apply the mortar over the entire surface. After a day, proceed with the jointing with this product.
