Product Description
BW12 waterproofing is a two-component material whose liquid component is based on bitumen and its powder component is based on polymer. After application, this product forms a layer with high elasticity and, in addition to covering cracks, completely waterproofs concrete and cement surfaces. The adhesion of the polymer insulating material to concrete and cement surfaces is about 2 MPa. After drying, this material is used as a waterproof layer and protects against sulfate and chlorine ions.

Properties and effects
- Resistant to high positive hydrostatic pressure up to 10 bar
- Resistant to temperature changes from +80 to -40
- Eliminating capillary cracks by bridging the surface and preventing the transfer of such cracks to the surface at work
- Applicable to all concrete and cement surfaces only 48 hours after completion of the work
- Excellent adhesion to the surface
- No dandruff on the surface
- Having a long operating period
- Anti-algae and anti-moss
- Flexible
- Does not prevent the breathing of concrete
- Resistant to UV rays
Applications
- Sealing of tanks, water and sewage treatment plants, dams, concrete pipes, water transfer channels
- Sealing of foundations, walls and concrete floor surfaces with cement
- Sealing of parking floors and walls
- Pool sealing
- Elevator pit sealing
- Sealing of bathrooms, kitchens, rooftops, roof gardens and balconies
- Sealing of sloping surfaces and rain gutters
Consumption amount
Consumption rate The optimum BW12 can be calculated depending on the dimensions and porosity of the surface under work. However, in general, the amount of polymer waterproofing used is between 1.5 and 2 kilograms per square meter.
Usage method
Clean the surface of any dust, grease or suspended particles by water jet or apply a layer of concrete adhesive as a primer if the surface is not accessible for washing
Mixing two components A (liquid component) and B (powder component) in a container with a capacity of 40 liters
Mixing with an electric mixer (drill and blade) until a completely homogeneous mixture is obtained
Minimum mixing time 3 minutes and maximum 5 minutes
Apply the product with a large brush (rough) with two hands perpendicular to each other on a wet surface
Achieve the final layer thickness (depending on the amount of water pressure and type of application) between 1 and 4 mm
Keep the surface moist for up to 48 hours
Protect the surface from wind and direct sunlight for up to 48 hours
Ability to walk and apply tiles and ceramics on the surface of the chess after 24 hours
