Terrazzo is a versatile flooring material made from pre-fabricated decorative stone chips embedded in a cement or epoxy resin base. It is mechanically polished without the use of chemicals to create a smooth, uniform surface, making it an environmentally friendly and low-maintenance option.

Invented by Venetian mosaic workers in the 15th century, it was originally made with waste marble set in clay and sealed with goat’s milk. The enduring beauty and extreme durability of terrazzo means it is enjoying a current revival in both commercial and residential applications.

This flooring can be combined with a variety of decorative (colored) glass in 2 cm thickness.
